7 maj 2011 · I've got a batch file that I am trying to launch from the keyboard. I created a shortcut for this batch file and can successfully use F1-F11 as the Shortcut Key. I can set F12 as the shortcut key, but it does not run the batch file when I hit it.
31 sty 2011 · When I press F2, F8 or F12, appearently it stops running and keep the black screen, until I hit "enter" a couple times so it start the windows. It seems that the screen only turn on after initializing the windows (the first image is the mouse pointer and the win logo. How did you solve your problem?
26 lis 2020 · If F2 and F12 are not you into BIOS, you probably accidentally hit the F Lock key - easy to do as it is next to F12. This changes the function of all the function keys which you can program for other actions.

31 gru 2018 · Yesterday I tried to get to the boot menu from the reboot process by pressing the F12 key when that message comes up on the screen. It never worked. I could get to the set up screens by pressing the F2 key.
