21 lip 2021 · In Excel, you can replace a series' label with the contents of a cell by selecting the label once, then again, and then entering your cell reference in the formula bar (see Excel screenshot). I'd like to achieve the same result in Google Sheets.

Unfortunately, there's no way to do this other than scripting. Alternatively, you can put your chart in a big merged cell with a value that is linked elsewhere. So on that alternative approach, the chart itself has no Title, but uses the cell value as the Title.
To easily update a chart or axis title, label, or text box that you have added to a chart, you can link it to a worksheet cell. Changes that you make to the data in that worksheet cell will automatically appear in the chart. Note that linking options are not available for all chart types.
