31 sty 2015 · if only the dates appear (and not the hours), add in a new column (Column C) the formula =TIMEVALUE(C) and finally add both in a last column (Column D) with the formula =B+C. Normally, it should automatically be considered by Excel as a date. You can check this by applying a filter to your data (it will be classified by years, months and days).

17 paź 2014 · Sometimes it's necessary to open, edit and save the CSV, for instance to delete columns of sensitive data, correct an outlier, etc. The challenge is that Excel reads valid dates in the CSV (e.g. 8/23/2013), converts them to dates and displays them with two digit years.
9 maj 2017 · I have a workbook with data that I'd like to re-sort (randomly, if that matters) every time the workbook is opened. (For instance, re-sorting by column B, generated by a rand() call, in the workbook pictured below, every time the file is opened.)
