Enlace, which began in 1983, is an academic program supported by counseling, tutoring, community mentoring, and student organizations. There is no application to participate in the program. If interested in joining Enlace, students must contact the Enlace Program Coordinator for assistance.
Enlace is a multi-service program blending academic instruction and support services. The program offers counseling; mentoring; supplemental instruction; peer tutoring; along with English, Math and Science transferable courses. All courses have a community learning approach.

The Enlace Program, which began in 1983 at Evergreen Valley College, represents an alternative approach to meeting the educational needs of Chicanx/Latinx students. The name enlace is derived from the Spanish word enlazar, which means "to bind or connect" or "to create a community."
The Enlace Program is designed to help Chicanx/Latinx students succeed. It is a unique academic program established in 1983 and maintained under the EVC Language Arts Division celebrating 41 years of academic services.
