I used to set Windows updates to lower bandwidth to not bother me while gaming. But since recently Xbox Game Pass for PC app thingy uses the Windows update speed limiter for itself too. I now set bandwidth to max and poof Xbox app downloaded a game at 90MB/s.
10 maj 2024 · I'm getting speeds that top out around 700 Kbp/s. I can do 70+ MB/s on Steam. I've read a couple posts about verifying Auto-Tuning level is "normal", and ensuring download speeds aren't capped in the Windows settings. I'm on Windows 10.
After killing the store and restarting it - download speed comes in at 90mbps+ TLDR: multiple troubleshooters suggest turning Delivery Optimization on, I fixed my slow speeds by turning it off - something easy to try if your speeds are also sub-par.
Just found a fix for slow downloads from microsoft store! Delivery Optimization - > Advanced Options -> Put download limits to 100%. You have to enable the limiter, that is the key. Seems to be a bug as if you unselect the limits (should be unlimited), it still applies the bandwidth limits.
