Last MacOS: OS X 10.9.5 (13F1911) I replaced the original hard drive (Hitachi 250GB) with a solid state drive and trying to install any MacOS version via Internet Recovery by using Command+R. I've tried Command+Alt/Option+R and Shift+Alt/Option+Command+R and same result.
5 sie 2021 · Go to Check Compatibility to see if your mac qualifies for the OS upgrade you want. Then go to the Download OS section and click on the OS you want to install. Before upgrading make a full back up of your Mac.
20 mar 2020 · Older MBPs cannot run the latest OS version, and have different maximum OS levels depending on age. So, for us to help, we need you to tell us the sub-model, the part with a year and Early, Mid, or Late in the name, from About this Mac. This is the "About" window in OS 10.9 but for an iMac.
18 kwi 2023 · I have 2 external drives and both are formatted as Mac OS Extended (Journaled). It has been fine in the past but now when I try to paste/merge folders I get an unexpected error code 0 on some (not all) folders, and on both external drives.
I'd really consider trying to fix the existing OS long before exacerbating the situation by trying to force another over it. Start with Disk Utility - Repair Disk Permissions & Verify Disk [startup from the Recovery partition, Cmd ⌘ R at the startup chime, if the Disk needs Repairing].
