The Contactless Indicator is a consumer facing symbol which demonstrates that an EMV contactless payment can be made. The Contactless Indicator is accompanied by the Contactless Symbol, which signifies that a payment terminal accepts EMV contactless payments.
The most familiar mark is the EMV Contactless Indicator. It is globally recognised and demonstrates that an EMV contactless payment can be made. This is supported by the Contactless Symbol, signifying that a payment terminal is EMV compliant and accepts EMV contactless payments.
The EMVCo Contactless Indictor denotes contactless capability and is present on all contactless cards and form factors which have payments as a primary use case, and may be displayed on the screen of contactless mobile devices.
