Hi - thoughts on eleve brand leotards for short/curvy person with larger bust? (us 36dd). By their size chart I am size L, but I wasn’t able to find many reviews online about this brand.
Started this thread to discuss the good and bad regarding leo companies. What are your favorite brands and why? Complaints and why? New companies? Trusted companies? Best quality? Share your thoughts for new parents and help them decide what to buy. I really like Melody Leotards. She has soft fabric, shiny fabric, etc.
for a statement printed leotard, i love élève and luckyleo. they both have nice prints, but eleve definitely has more variety, you can customize or order ready to wear from so many prints and styles. i also like maldire, but for the price the fabric isn’t worth it. sometimes a jo+jax leotard can be nice too, but some styles are a bit too ...
On the show, many of the Ballet West dancers were wearing these gorgeously colored and patterned leotards, and many of them turned out to be Elev é leotards. The founder of the company is a former Ballet West dancer, so it makes a lot of sense that the dancers there would support her.
I think they had an issue with adult women ordering all-over print leotards and complaining that they didn’t look like a pro dancer, so they basically restrict all-over prints to people ordering XS or S or something.
