3 cze 2024 · My immediate thought is the pump mounting or bolt holes faulty in some way or the casting has a fault if the pump is coming loose. I would want to check it out now before it lets go again. The pump pressure can go above 3000 psi at times to feed direct fuel injection.
31 mar 2022 · 1st Gen 3.5L EcoBoost engines only use a direct fuel injection, where fuel is directly injected into the cylinders. The result is carbon accumulation, as there is no fuel being washed over the intake valves.

The intake camshaft from the driver's side has an additional lobe driving a high-pressure fuel pump of the direct fuel injection system. The pump delivers fuel pressures up to 2150 psi. The key component that provides excellent performance is a turbocharger.
