The ECAC also hosts comprehensive esports competition. In the inaugural 2018-2019 season, there were 23 member schools, fielding over 100 teams across six different game titles. The ECAC has expanded across North America now reaching Canada. Over 180 ECAC Esports member schools field over 1,300 teams across eighteen different games and divisions.
ECAC Esports is a comprehensive collegiate esports league that spans across North America. Although the ECAC Esports season is conducted online, there will be fall and spring events conducted in person.
The ECAC Code of Conduct is the overriding authority on all matters related to sportsmanship. Competitors are expected to know and follow the tenets put forth in the code. The following items are specific to ECAC Esports: Section A – Competition Conduct

9 sie 2021 · DEFINITIONS. 1.1. Player: Any individual participant who is eligible to compete. 1.2. Captain: The team captain is a player on a team whose role is to communicate with the opposing team’s captain to set up a game lobby, as well as check in their team and lock in their roster.
Section C – Game Readiness (No Shows and Forfeitures) As an ECAC Esports member, all institutions agree and are expected to be ready to join the game lobby at the time specified by the regular season schedule.
