Scammers may impersonate well-known companies via email, phone or text message, in the hope that recipients will provide confidential information (including passwords or bank or credit card details) and/or download malicious software.
I checked what I thought was a fraudulent transaction on 10/09/22. Entirely unepxpectedly I found a total of 26 payments taken by a company called Ebay Commerce UK Ltd that I know nothing about, totalling £707.65, all random amounts. This was over a period from 18/11/21 to 1/7/22.
