This Memorandum of Agreement is entered into between the City of East Providence, Rhode Island (hereinafter referred to as the "City") and the East Providence Fire Fighters, Local 850, International Associations of Fire Fighters, AFL-CIO.
The Fire Department is strategically placed within the city to rapidly deploy resources in times of emergency. The department currently protects the city with five engine companies, two ladder companies, three Advanced Life Support (ALS) rescues and several support vehicles.
