20 mar 2023 · Learn how to play the E melodic minor scale on piano and guitar, and how to construct chords from its notes. The E melodic minor scale is a diatonic scale with a raised 6th and 7th degree on the way up, and the same as the natural minor scale on the way down.
In E minor melodic, there is no D#, only D natural, and no C#, only C natural. This doesn’t make any difference to the degree of the scale. So, we can say that the 6th degree of the scale of E minor melodic is C natural or C sharp.
