D-Generation X (DX) is an American professional wrestling stable, and later a tag team, that consisted of various members, most notably Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Chyna, X-Pac, and the New Age Outlaws, a tag team consisting of Road Dogg and Billy Gunn.
In the weeks leading up to Michaels’ WWE Title Match against “Stone Cold” Steve Austin at WrestleMania XIV, D-Generation X formed a partnership with boxing great Mike Tyson. When that relationship turned sour, Triple H blamed HBK and sought to add new recruits to his DX army.
