8 lut 2018 · There was an update in windows 10 about month or so ago, and my graphic card at the time stopped detecting the second monitor, which is connected to a dvi port. Eventually, I solved to problem by reverting back driver update portion of the windows update.
24 maj 2018 · I took the cable out of the graphics card and plugged it into the onboard HDMI port. Enabled multi-monitor in the BIOS and everything is working. I just can't update the drivers for the onboard graphics or the graphics card because when I do, no signal.

31 paź 2019 · To get DVI working you have to buy a DVI->DVI cable (check different versions of DVI standards) and connect directly to DVI port on video card. In this way windows recognize simultaneously DVI, HDMI and all DP ports (not just windows but also macOS and Linux).

20 sie 2016 · When I connect the DVI-HDMI from the computer to the monitor, select HDMI as input on the monitor, I get the existing wallpaper and the task bar with no icons only. No mouse pointer. No desktop icons. All good if I select back to VGA as input.
9 gru 2015 · I did look at your video card and it appears you have two different DVI plug types: I also looked up your monitor: So your video card uses DVI-I and DVI-D. Your monitor supports DVI-D. Make sure your cable is DVI-D and then make sure you plug it into the DVI-D port of your video card.
