14 lis 2020 · If the option to change the language in preferences isn't displaying the language you wanted you can set it to another language in Windows by typing intl.cpl in the Window Run command (hit Windows key + R to open) and change it there. Vlc will pick it up automatically.
3 cze 2014 · (The menu language of the player is already German.) My DVD drive has region code 2. I changed it to region code 1 and back to 2. I bought the DVDs in Germany and the case and the booklets are all printed in German. When I play all season with PowerDVD or Windows Media Player, all the DVD menus are in German then and I don't have that problem.
29 kwi 2020 · I think I have got an effective work-around for this. You can't stop the language-specific redirect in those websites but can choose to read everything in English and not French. This can be achieved in Chrome, however, I haven't tried in other browsers yet. Go To Menu>Settings>Languages in Chrome, and do the following:

On the BluRay DVD for Spectre, the default language was Spanish. If I went to settings, changed the audio to English, and then scrolled down to Captions, the audio setting disappeared and, invisibly, changed back to Spanish.
