12 lut 2012 · I use Ernie Ball 10-52 (skinny top heavy bottom) for C# and they seem about right. Once I get down to drop C they start feeling too loose, but C# holds tune for me. Remember to adjust your intonation; tuning down can really throw things out of whack when you play higher up the neck.
