With no certainty as to whether EA will fix these issues, I figured its better to stick with the version of the game that I know works well. And, simply put, it still runs really well! It plays faster in emulation than my old Intel-based MacBook Pro did natively.
I have just gotten a new laptop and I want to download the game, although not from Origin/EA app because I don't want to spend huge amounts of money. Do any of you have any tips for (illegally) downloading The Sims 3 on a Macbook and which programs/apps did you use?
