You have to make your directories available as drives in DOSBox by using the "mount" command. For example, in Windows "mount C D:\GAMES" will give you a C drive in DOSBox which points to your Windows D:\GAMES directory (that was created before).
You can also mount the ISO as a CD-ROM drive in your system and mount this CD-ROM drive in DOSBox: In Windows 10 and 11 you can right click on the image.iso file in explorer and choose mount . In older operating systems you'll have to mount the image to your system with software like Virtual Clone Drive .
22 wrz 2019 · So I have Windows 3.1 in LaunchBox, and it uses a bat file with the following commands: @echo off. dosbox -conf dosbox.play.conf. That config file has "mount C C" in its commands to mount the root directory as the C drive, and then it launches Windows 3.1.
13 kwi 2024 · Mounting your games folder will allow you to run any games that you've downloaded and placed in it. Mounting a CD will allow you to run old DOS games off the disc. Mounting a disc image (ISO) allows you to run a CD image files as if the CD was inserted.
26 paź 2010 · You can mount bin/cue type CD images with the IMGMOUNT command, and it will 'sort of' work if you specify the .bin file as the file to mount. However, it will not mount the audio tracks of the CD correctly if you do this.
6 kwi 2018 · I recomment you to copy the "DOSBox-0.74" folder to the local C: drive. That way you can reuse it for whatever disk you have in your D: drive. If you followed my suggestion the only thing you need to do is inserting the disk with your game, running DOSBox, type. mount c d:\dosprogs\ -type cdrom.
