Mataguay Scout Ranch, a 1000 acre property owned and operated by San Diego-Imperial Council, is a great destination for year round camping. Open to all Scouting units and other non-Scout organizations. This includes packs, dens, troops, crews, church groups, clubs, and associations.

Dog Scouts of America is a national organization with several individual members and troops across the United States. Located in the North Texas area, Troop 119 is the largest troop in the nation.

The San Diego-Imperial Council of the Boy Scouts of America operates four camps: Camp Balboa, Camp Bashor, Mataguay Scout Ranch and the Youth Aquatic Center. Camping progams occur year-round at these facilities.
