This is the correct answer. For software I recommend displayCal. It's free ,Open source, and works with most color calibrators.
It doesn’t really. The reshades etc that GAMMA applies on top of Anomaly will drop your FPS. However, it’s plausible that GAMMA will run better than Anomaly with the same reshades etc applied manually as everything in gamma is hand picked and configured to work well together.
