You get **every spell slot on your current level + any former level**, meaning that you have three 1st level spell slots and two 2nd level spell slots at level 3. The sheet makes perfect sense once you understand it, and I've been testing/using it for awhile.
This calculator uses the multiclassing rules found in the 5th Edition Player's Handbook, with the assumption that artificers will be treated as half-casters, like paladins and rangers.
-The sheet is meant to keep track of what spells you have available at each level. In practice, this means that I'd know I have four 1st level spell slots and two 2nd level spell slots at Bard level 3. Moreover, I can use a pencil to fill in the spell slots that I use. Example: I'm a level 3 Bard who knows how many spell slots I have.
10 kwi 2019 · For Tiers 1 & 2 (Levels 1-4 and 5-10) the very first level gives 2 spell slots of the type gained at that level. Then, the second-to-last level gives two types of spell slots, not just one. In Tier 3 (Levels 11-16), you only gain spell slots every other level, on the odd levels.
27 sty 2022 · The number of spell slots determines how many times you can cast a certain level of spell (e.g. 3 spell slots for level 1 spells). And the number of spells known is just the total number of the spells in your spellbook.
Pact Magic grants you a set number of spell slots (up to 4) and what level those slots are (up to 5th) depending on your Warlock level. All of your slots are the same level. You regain all Pact Magic spell slots when you complete a short rest. You get Mystic Arcanum at certain levels as well.
