21 wrz 2021 · The Monk is a hard choice for the Harengon. There’s a lot of redundancy, and the Harengon doesn’t solve any of the Monk’s problems. Hare Trigger is fine, but be careful about rushing into melee by yourself. Lucky Footwork is good, but monks already have good Dexterity saves.
Monks would make this a fantastic mobility maximization race. 12 mar 2022 · Monk: The Perception proficiency will complement your high WIS modifier, and the extra movement options will allow you to flow around the battlefield like water. The Lucky Footwork ability will also give your Evasion ability a buff and help save you from even taking half damage.

17 maj 2022 · Rogues and monks take the lead when trying to determine which class makes the best use of this feature. They both gain Evasion at level 7 which complements Lucky Footwork well. If a monk or rogue fails a dexterity saving throw, they only take half the damage, but if they pass a DEX save, they take 0 damage.
Class features generally have fairly minimal impact on overall class build, but I have a few thoughts. The two most significant racial bonuses for Harengon are the bonus to Initiative, and the ability to improve your DEX saves. This makes Harengon an excellent choice for the oft-maligned Assassin Rogue.
