27 kwi 2024 · Updated: 27 Apr 2024. Last time I checked, there are 107 Gods in Dungeons and Dragons, which is a lot. Saying who or what is the most powerful God in D&D is incredibly difficult with contradicting backstories, complicated bloodlines, and conflicting battles.

3 dni temu · Ilmater is one of the few good deities on this list. He is the god of endurance, and can take on the suffering of others, able to bear it for them. Ilmater is a Forgotten Realms deity connected with Tyr and Torm. He is an older deity, and was there before Tyr or Torm, well established by the time the three of them established the Triad together.
The canonical power ranking (Ignoring setting-specific BS) is The Lady of Pain > Tharizdun (But he's too insane to do anything, and all the other gods chained him up to keep him from doing anything) > Moradin > Other greater deities > Other lesser deities > Kurtulmak > Demigods, hero deities, and other "Not quite god" beings.
Gods are at their strongest when they are in their place doing their thing. But also the number of worshipers and divine rank come into play. Tharizdun has the portfolio of Madness.
