16 maj 2023 · DNA-V is an evidence-based model that fosters psychological resilience and values consistent living, vitality, and success. It aims to help people manage challenges, stress, and change. DNA-V integrates principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and positive psychology, drawing from contextual behavioral science.
This workshop will introduce participants to a model of ACT specifically designed for use with children and adolescents. The DNAV (Hayes & Ciarrochi, 2015) is a non-pathology based, developmentally sensitive, contextual behavioral science model for promoting the social and emotional wellbeing of children and adolescents .
In Module 1, you’ll learn about the developmental and theoretical foundations behind DNA-V and how they can help you better understand young people’s behavior. You’ll also learn how to use a key application tool: the DNA-V disk.
Below is a series of simple videos that can help introduce young people to their DNA-V. Now you will have a way to show young people, inspire them, fire them. The videos can provide the springboard for counselling or classroom discussions.
