20 wrz 2020 · My porthole screens were starting to deteriorate after 10 years. The old screens were a fiberglass mesh. I looked into replacements, but could not be sure of pothole manufacturer or their exact size. What I did find seemed to be quite expensive at $40 to $50 each.

7 cze 2008 · They remove their portlights, install your blank covers (to keep the weather out), put the portlights in the same box you sent the blanks to them in, and ship them to you. You rebuild in your shop, then ship them back and they return the blanks.
7 wrz 2013 · We have an all porthole boat and as previously mentioned all have 2 inch thick bungs to blackout and insulate. We also have a pigeon hatch with 4 x 11" portholes. They don't have liners though, they are basically set into 5mm steel and 18mm plywood so only have a 3/4 inch rebate to set something in.
