4 gru 2006 · build a circuit that will convert a composite signal to a VGA signal. what I want to do is be able to watch TV on a LCD monitor, with out buying an expensive converter or expensive monitor with a composite in.
If you really want to do it DIY you basically just need to figure out which wires inside of the VGA cable correspond to pins 1, 4, 5, and 6 and then route 1 and 6 into an RCA style connector using the wire from pin 1 as signal (the RCA tip) and the wire from pin 6 as ground (the RCA ring).
18 lut 2007 · Hook color to color using the proper coax and grounds and composite sync to where it needs to go. Any monitor with BNC connectors should work fine. Sony usually has five and a switch to choose SoG, composite or seperate H,V sync.
This is a very simple black and white composite video adapter for experimenters. The circuit is very simple, so the signal is not exactly according the video standard, but you should at least get some kind of picture. The circuit needs VGA to TV drivers which output negative polarity HSYNC and VSYNC signals.
22 sie 2002 · I want to take a composite from say a DVD player and output it to a VGA port. I know I can get a device that will do what I need for around $100, I'm just trying to see if I might be able to build something on my own for cheaper.
20 lip 2009 · Ever wanted to connect your computer to your HDTV? Obviously for better resolution, clarity, etc. You can make a cable for it and again this is just for hobbyists like me.
