2 wrz 2008 · Has anybody had any luck using a Harbor Freight blade welder? I have used mine on 1/4", 3/8" AND 1/2" wide blades, my smaller blades break next to the weld even when dropped on the shop floor, the 1/2" blades have held up the longest, what am I doing wrong? not annealing long enough or to long.

29 mar 2005 · I have had many harbor freight blades break on the weld in my HF bandsaw. I finaly started returning them if the blade was not worn out and telling them it was defective because it broke on the weld. Then I get a new blade for FREE!
So I got an early birthday present, a Harbor freight Chicago Electric 125 flux welder, no experience welding at all. I looked up some YouTube reviews, beginner tutorials and read through a few reddit posts then decided to just try it out, this is my very first go.
