There is no way to override Ctrl + N, Ctrl + T, or Ctrl + W in Google Chrome since version 4 of Chrome (shipped in 2010). I use Ctrl-N, Ctrl-P, Ctrl-B, Ctrl-F, Ctrl-A, and Ctrl-K in macOS in all kinds of applications and on all kinds of websites in different browsers. For me these commands just work everywhere out of the box.
