16 lis 2012 · Directv receiver says 60 tilt 36 elevation. Messing with the tilt gets me 101/110 or 110/119 at the same time but I cannot get 101/110/119 at the same time which means my tilt must be off. Need the setting for zip code 256xx.

Put in your address (you should refine your dish location on the resultant map), select "DIRECTV SL3" under multi-LNB setups and click the "Search!" button. The "dish skew" number is what you're looking for.
9 lis 2011 · Go to www.dishpointer.com and determine the azimuth, elevation and tilt settings for your location. Determine that your mast is perfectly plumb. Set the elevation and tilt to the markings on the dish.
18 paź 2011 · Go to www.dishpointer.com and put in your location (you can select the photo version if you like) and the dish type. With the HR24, that would likely be either Directv SL3 or SL5. The result will give both true and magnetic. Set the elevation and tilt.
22 wrz 2017 · Use the signal meter on the “Dish Pointing” menu. Verify that you are getting a signal. Fine-tune the alignment of your dish to acquire the strongest possible signal. Turn the volume on your television up so you can hear the signal tone outside, or have a friend or family member alert you when the tone is continuous.
11 wrz 2013 · If you’ve set elevation and tilt properly you should be getting some signal on the satellite you’re listening for. From here make very small adjustments to fine-tune what you’re seeing. The Slimline-3 is much easier to aim because the three satellite locations it uses are much closer together.
9 lip 2023 · Dish pointing. I have a dish in my RV that I set up when we are camping to watch ball games and such. I take the main receiver from the house and before I left I’d go to Directv’s page that was “dish pointing by zip code” and put in the closest zip to where I’d be camping and use those coordinates.
