18 paź 2011 · Go to www.dishpointer.com and put in your location (you can select the photo version if you like) and the dish type. With the HR24, that would likely be either Directv SL3 or SL5. The result will give both true and magnetic. Set the elevation and tilt.
16 lis 2012 · Directv receiver says 60 tilt 36 elevation. Messing with the tilt gets me 101/110 or 110/119 at the same time but I cannot get 101/110/119 at the same time which means my tilt must be off. Need the setting for zip code 256xx.

22 wrz 2017 · Leave the screen on the “Dish Pointing” menu. Check that the elevation indication is aligned to the elevation you wrote down. Verify that the azimuth setting and tilt on the dish is correct as well.
4 sie 2024 · 14.1K Messages. 3 months ago. Using a receiver is fine for alignment. If you find the center of the 101 beam using the "dither" method, then use the fine tuning bolts to get 99/103 to the correct signal level, you can get 99/103 into the high 80s or mid 90s.
11 wrz 2013 · Most options will reset themselves after the meter is turned off and on. The only one that sticks is the Favorites list. To turn the meter off, press and hold the OK button. If the meter is plugged in, unplug it, turn it off by pressing and holding the OK button then plugging the meter in.
Go to the on-screen "Dish Pointing" menu. Access the signal meter to verify you are getting a signal from the dish. If not, adjust the azimuth setting until you receive a signal.
