The most common ECG abnormality is frequent PVCs, although the "pathognomonic" ECG finding is bidirectional ventricular tachycardia.

With toxicity, ECG may show signs of increased automaticity (premature ventricular contractions), atrioventricular nodal blockade, and slowed ventricular response.
