18 sty 2022 · Dialga is a sturdy cannon in the VGC 2022 metagame, able to check common Restricted Pokemon like Kyogre, Calyrex-I, and Zacian-C. It is a great Dynamax Pokemon on hyper offense, as it can stack up defensive boosts via Max Steelspike and Max Quake for itself and its partners like Zacian-C and 2HKO or even OHKO nearly the whole metagame.

Its typing allows it to resist attacks from many of the metagame's common threats such as Kyogre, Zacian-C and Regieleki while it deals good damage in return. It also has access to good Dynamax options, with Max Wyrmwind, Max Quake, and Max Steelspike all bolstering its bulk.
So I've recently been interested in using Dialga, but searching the Internet for ways to structure its moveset, I haven't found much that makes the use of Roar of Time viable. I'm aware that the ability isn't all that great, but what moves would be good to pair up with the ability to make it less bad?

This makes it overall better than non-Origin Dialga, with Origin Forme having an overall stat product 372 points higher, and a CP 59 points higher than regular Dialga's 4565. If it wasn't already obvious: Origin Forme Dialga is pretty much strictly better than the original in terms of stats.
