How To Socket a Shields in D2. You can use a Cube Recipe to Reroll a Normal Shields (Gray Text) and attempt to reroll it with Sockets. Shield Socket Horadric Cube Recipe: 1 Tal Rune + 1 Amn Rune + 1 Perfect Ruby + Any Normal Shield = Socketed Shield of same type.
