Hellfire is the first official Diablo add-on. It is based on the original Diablo code and offers two new dungeons, a new character class, new weapons, armor, spells, potions, monsters, quests, and a number of improvements to the standard Diablo interface.

As the name suggests, Back to Hellfire aims to bring back the feel and atmosphere of the original Diablo game up until the Diablo: Hellfire expansion. The mod follows a different storyline to better match the bigger maps, all while featuring new bosses, monsters, and balances as well.

10 sty 2020 · While this version lets you play the original game and the Hellfire expansion easily on a modern system, there are plenty of unofficial mods that add many modern conveniences, restore unfinished content or add new content entirely, including an open-source version of the engine.
