One of the least known and best sounding is DCM. This low-profile company from Ann Arbor, Mich., employs relatively common speaker ''drivers'' (woofers, tweeters, etc.) in an unusual enclosure to deliver remarkable sound. DCM first made its name--or earned its initials, if you will--with an uncommon speaker it called the Time Window.
6 gru 2020 · Time Piece: coaxial bookshelf speakers with the familiar DCM sound and appearance. They need a sub to carry the low end, but they sound nice. Not magical. (Interesting teardown thread about them by a boutique speaker builder baco99 on this forum.)
18 paź 2011 · DCM-1's are fantastic. Those DCM in the pic are not actually 1a. The 1a had an l-pad in the back for the 2 tweeters in each speaker. The DCM trail goes kinda hot and cold. I had the 1a, then the 3a (gave away on CAM, after trying 3 times), with 4 new tweeters.
