First Floor. The exploding U Street area is bustling with nightlife. Our first floor is a great place to to come for a drink and food after work. Our first floor has a full bar and several booths to socialize.
DC9 is an unpretentious, inexpensive, three-level bar with a space for dance parties or smaller or up-and-coming bands (think Black Cat Backstage -- Warpaint and Priests have played here) and one of the best bars in the city for a few reasons: 1) Setting: three levels, different vibes.
DC9 does in fact have some seating. We have bar stools and tables on the ground level of the club. Upstairs where the entertainment takes place, we really like to encourage standing, rocking, and dancing for the shows, but if you need a break or just a seat altogether, we do have some tables & stools available for shows that are not sold out.
