Donna Elaine Price was born (1966) in the foothills of North Carolina. As a child, she spent endless hours exploring in the woods behind her childhood home, discovering interesting old car parts, various other metal objects, discarded bottles of all sorts and any number of other cast-offs from past families.
The influence of the local contemporary craft and abstract art scene of Western North Carolina ignited a deep appreciation for handmade work. She shares studio space in Ateliers Alte Weberei, is a member of Kunstforum Salzkammergut, Kulturvision Salzkammergut and a board member of KAW.
