8 sie 2021 · In this report, a 52-year-old man presented with hand numbness, arm pain, and myelopathic symptoms that were refractory to medical treatment for more than 6 months. The magnetic resonance images demonstrated herniated discs at C2–3, C3–4, and C4–5, causing stenosis.

20 gru 2008 · The primary indications are as follows: 1) soft herniated discs leading to cervicobrachial pain refractory to conservative treatment; 2) some cases of hard herniated discs if movement has been documented on intra-operative dynamic bending films; 3) much more rarely in cases of spinal cord compression with myelopathy.
C2-C3 disc herniation is rare but may result with severe myelopathy. This kind of herniations tend to be central and large. The present study demonstrates that diagnosis and adequate anterior decompression in C2-C3 disc herniations may provide an excellent outcome.

14 kwi 2021 · There were 15 cases of cervical disk herniation and 9 cases of cervical spondylosis. The mean follow-up period was 17.4 months. Surgical levels were C3/4 in 4 cases, C4/5 in 2 cases, C5/6 in 16 cases, and C6/7 in 2 cases.
