VZ 52 and VZ 52/57 rifles were produced from 1952 to 1959. Caliber: 7.62x39mm. The VZ 52 was originally chambered in 7.62x45mm.
Up for sale we have an original Czech VZ52 AYM Semi-Automatic Rifle in the 7.62x45 caliber. This gun is in good condition maintaining a high percentage of the original finish. The barrel is 20 inches long with a mint bore and original iron sights.
This is a mint, unfired Czech vz. 52/57, which is the Czech 52 rifle but made in the more common caliber of 7.62x39. This example was found new in a plastic bag on the island of Grenada in 1983 during Operation Urgent Fury. A small number of these rifles were found in a warehouse unissued.
