29 kwi 2020 · As for things to replace, you'll find a fair number of the stock parts will work quite well with a bit of basic tuning. I have a link in my signature that goes into great detail on my M14 build. Also check out the later pages of my teching thread for M14 stuff scattered in it.
6 lis 2018 · Watch you tube videos on disassembling the gearbox, I have had the, Cyma, G&G, G&P brands, I found the G&P one the quietest and best performance of all three brands.
There are plenty of guides on YouTube about how to open up an m14 gearbox. There are even more guides on how to shim properly.
As for performance, the stock accuracy is honestly absolutely stunning. I know people who made CYMA M14 DMR builds who swap the barrel but leave the stock hop-up rubber and chamber. I have an M4 with a Prometheus Barrel + Maple Leaf bucking, and my stock CYMA is comparable in accuracy.
