2 gru 2020 · Hi, I'm trying to use the Vortex mod manager for Skyrim VR. It sounds really easy to use but it's just not working... I've tried two simple mods (no plugins or need for the script extender), both are installed, enabled and deployed, but neither show up in game.
Always use Skyrim SE mods, or mods built specifically for VR, (nexus has a tag). Normal Skyrim, or Skyrim Anniversary edition mods WILL NOT WORK. Treat it like your modding Skyrim SE, for anything that doesn't require SKSE or jcontainers, (etc.) in that case, make sure you get the VR version.
18 kwi 2018 · Sounds like you're missing a step in activating the mods. Check your plugins.txt file--the original is (probably) in your Skyrim SSE folder (in Games/Documents), so be sure to copy THAT to the SkyrimVR folder in the same directory. All activated mods should have as asterisk, *, in front of them.
3 sie 2020 · Navigate to the Skyrim SSE Data folder (easiest way is to use steam through its local files menu), locate a file named "Skyrim - Patch.bsa". Copy the file into your "Patch" folder. Now Drag and Drop that file onto BAE, point it to save the file to the created Patch folder. There will be several sub Folders.
11 mar 2024 · Despite the name (providing long-awaited ESL support for Skyrim VR), this mod also includes a fix which allows Skyrim VR to load mods with the new header version, similar to what Backported Extended ESL Support provides for Skyrim SSE/AE.

25 gru 2020 · I'm not at my computer currently to give you the mod names but I remember having to get another mod to get SMIM working. As well for In official skyrim patch, legendary edition won't work on VR, you need to have the VR/SE version of the patch that was made for it.
