My unit okayed cryes so I ordered a pair of the g3 feild pants size 30 short which is my regular pant size for everything including my acu pants. The waist on the cryes fits good but the leg seems very wide.
Most say that following the sizing guidelines shared on Crye's website means you will end up with pants that are to large at the waist. Some say order the same size pants you wear while others say size up.
I wear a 34x30 size pants but according to Crye’s sizing guide I should wear a 40S. That doesn’t seem right to me so I was wondering how other people typically determine what size pants to order. I’ve seen a lot of different opinions on this sub from the past so I’d like to get an update if things have changed.

21 maj 2020 · For the G3 combat pants, I am 6'1'' 220 lbs and usually between a 34-36. I have 36 regular pants and they fit fine with a little room to spare. Not sure if you can look at other brands but UF Pro offers more features for less, IMO.
