General Information. A multi-disciplined technical review, conducted at both system-level and component-level, ensures that the initial product baseline is established. The component-level CDRs should be successfully completed for each major component before conducting the system-level CDR.
The Critical Design Review (CDR) closes the critical design phase of the project. A CDR presents the final designs through completed analyses, simulations, schematics, software code, and test results. It should present the engineering evaluation of the breadboard model of the project.
