The cover artwork was created by Tremonti’s brother, Daniel, who also designed the cover for My Own Prison. Human Clay has four singles that were released; “Higher,” (1999) “What If,” (2000) “With Arms Wide Open,” (2000) and “Are You Ready” (2000).
The artwork for the album was designed by Mark Tremonti's brother, Daniel Tremonti, who also designed all of the band's album covers. The front cover depicts an unknown man in the foreground holding a hammer and chisel while carving the faces of Stapp, Tremonti, and Philips into the wood of a heavily mossed tree.
