Anyone have experience with the 6V golf cart batteries from Costco? They have bad reviews on the Costco website, but most seem to be from use in RV's. They are quite a bit cheaper than Trojans ($100 vs $170) and closer for me to buy, so I'm tempted to give them a shot.
18 mar 2021 · For such occasional use, are these 6V GC batteries from Costco a good bet at $90 + core charge? I did visit an Interstate dealer, and they quoted ~$175/ battery, although I'm uncertain if it's a comparable model.
It looks like my options are Costco 6v 105 amp for $95 each plus tax (about 30 minutes from my house and I have a membership), Sams Club Duracell 6v 110 amp for $87 no tax (about 1.5 hrs away and no membership), or Batteries Plus (about same price as Sams Club but more like 2 hrs away but don't need membership).
15 sty 2024 · My coach came with 6 Interstate 6v GC2 Deep Cycle Extreme batteries. Model: GC2-ECL-UT, 115 mins @ 75 Amps, 225 Ah @ 20 Hr. I need to replace all 6, and yet I'm most likely going to sell the coach in the next year. The batteries above are over $200 each.
