Static RGB light will work on any motherboard, whereas the Addressable RGB light will not work on all motherboards unless it has a 3-pin 5V RGB header.

6 sty 2021 · What I learned with this one was to just bypass the fan controller completely if your motherboard has the 3 pin aRGB header. The cooler itself should be plugged into the 4 pin rgb header and then go to the website and install the new firmware.
