25 paź 2021 · Update 2023-09-28: version 2.1.1 released [WinXP_apps_BA_v2.iso]. Which now contains some 64-bit executables too. I keep the original version [BA_WinXP_x86_apps.iso] also up, because its more compact. its taking me a day to get a quarter in the x86 version.

For anyone that's missed it, on September 20th the community started a public list of download links for numerous archived programs confirmed to work on Windows XP. Today I took a break from editing and counted 112 download links plus various useful websites, excellent work people!

Notepad++ 7.9.2 is the last version of Notepad++ that will run on Windows XP. Says so in the Notepad++ v7.9.3 release notes. Latest windows version of the Deluge bittorrent client works great on xp. Also, I've had great success with Pidgin 2.14.1, not sure if later versions work but it stops working on xp at around 2.14.6.
