Therefore, it’s always easiest when the manufacturing defect can be proven by quoting KDP specs and providing photos and measurements. But with color, that’s harder and usually more subjective. Doing this involves contacting KDP through Contact Us to open a case number (email support).
Calling Amazon's main customer support number and asking about Kindles will get you someone who explains how to turn on your Kindle, download a book, etc. It won't get you anyone who can help you publish via KDP.
