The cornerstones of our organization are ensuring access for each of our players to play youth hockey in a fun, supportive learning environment and developing competitive hockey players and teams to compete within USA Hockey at the local, state, regional and national levels.
Central CT Youth Hockey (CCYHA), established in 1984, is one of the largest and most successful travel programs in the state of CT. We field multiple travel teams from Mite (u8) through Midget (u18). Our Learn to Skate, Mite Development and House League provides a great opportunity for players of all ages and skill levels to develop their skills.
The Connecticut Girls Hockey League (CGHL) consists of recreational girls’ youth hockey teams from organizations throughout Connecticut. CGHL provides the structure & means for girls to learn the skills to play the sport of hockey.

These local organizations make it possible for between 10 & 12 thousand young hockey players to have the opportunity to enjoy amateur hockey at many different levels. CHC provides the structure & means for boys & girls age 4-19 to learn the necessary skills to play the sport of hockey.
